There is vertical rock face running all the way along the far side of this short pool. Change to a slightly heavier fly or one that is lightly dressed if the water is low and keep mending so that you fish along this drop off.

The river narrows radically here guaranteeing a good flow and depth even in low water. This pool can be waded in normal height but in high water fish it from the bank.
