Good at all heights but especially when it is high. You can fish this even up to 1 metre on the gauge. Don’t wade below the access slope at this height though. The fish are generally found between the two green rain water down pipes on the antiques warehouse. In normal height of water (4.5 on gauge) it is well worth fishing down, and covering under the trees on the other bank down to the rail.

The water level gauge can be seen upstream of the Umberleigh Bridge on the other bank. It is measured in metres and 4.5 would be considered average height. Fish have been caught in the Home, Bridge and Hut pools up to 1.2 metres on the gauge.
